My name is Kenny Scotch, and I am a Certified Canine Specialist. Since graduating in 2015 from Starmark Academy, a top-ranked dog training school here in Texas, I have been a full-time canine obedience and behavior modification specialist.

I have created dog training packages, but I can also tailor any package to your dog's needs. I have dedicated dog training facilities designed to create the best environments possible for training your dog effectively.

My puppy started coming out of his shell and I realized I was in over my head. He gave me a new puppy! He coached me, gave me the confidence to work with my pup and my puppy loved him. He works with you and your puppy as an individual and not just a generic client. I would recommend Kenny to anyone looking to train their dog! He is super knowledgeable and we could not have gotten in contact with a better trainer. He was always happy to answer all questions we had regarding our puppy. He was exceptional, having been able to show us the proper way to train our dog to get her to be obedient. I really enjoyed his style of training. It was very informative  During the training to clamorous the proper way, and the improper way of doing things, it really has changed the way that our puppy acts on and off the leash. He really takes the time to get to know you, your dog, and what you seek to get out of the sessions. I really appreciate how much Kenny cares about my dog, the progress my dog makes throughout the sessions, and how approachable he can be outside of the sessions. He makes sure to send a detailed summary of the training and tips to make sure the techniques work, and will always answer any questions you may have. The difference in my dog’s behavior before and after the six sessions with Kenny is astronomical. Thanks to Kenny, my dog no longer pulls on the leash during our walks, is no longer reactive to other people and their dogs, and has shown many other positive changes. At the first session, our dog Alfie was very skittish and unsure, but by the end, Kenny had him responding to simple commands. Each session after that continued to build on that progress. The homework was clear and easy to follow, and Kenny was always available to answer questions between sessions. We were especially impressed with how quickly he earned Alfie’s trust. After each lesson with my 4 month old puppy , he sends a detailed email reviewing everything that we did in class with lots of suggestions to ensure success. We recently worked with Kenny of K9 Kenny to train our puppy, and we couldn't be more pleased with the experience. From the start, Kenny was incredibly professional and communicative, making sure we were always informed and comfortable with each step of the process.

K9 Kenny's Mission

At K9 Kenny, my mission is to see that every dog owner I work with ends up with a well-mannered, obedient, and happy dog free of behavior issues. Too many dog owners are frustrated by having an unmanageable dog and instead of seeking training to resolve the situation, they just stop walking the dog altogether or avoid difficult situations such as going near other dogs, eating in the dog’s presence, or babying the dog too much. This usually leads to the dog becoming that much more difficult. It can be a vicious cycle, and it’s one I am determined to stop!

Using my proven effective teaching and training skills, I train the dog out of unruly behaviors and teach you to maintain your dog’s good behavior. This results in a powerful owner-dog relationship and ensures that the training lasts a lifetime. Working together, we teach your dog to be obedient and respectful by introducing structure and discipline. My methods address resolving behavioral issues as well as teaching basic and advanced obedience. I always see to it that the training sessions are not just effective but fun as well as training should be an enjoyable experience for both owner and dog alike!
